Ball Animation

In this assignment I was introduced to the Flash software. I created a short animation of a ball bouncing. You can see this animation by clicking on the above image. I created a guide line and then created a new layer. I named this the ball layer. I inserted a key frame there, and a regular frame in layer 1. I then added a motion tween and moved the ball along the guide starting a new frame for each change in motion.

Class Assignment 3: Photoshop Picture Manipulation

I manipulated this image to appear as a painting instead of a photograph.

Class Exercise 2: Picture Manipulation (Illustrator)

This was an image that I found on google. I added borders, colors, and text. It was just a fun project that I used to get familar with importing images and using Illustrator.

Class Exercise 2: Object Design (Illustrator)

In this class exercise I was intoduced to Adobe Illustrator. I just simply created two objects and changed their color to get a feel for the software.

Class Assignment 1: Picture Manipulation (Photoshop)

This assignment tested the skills in Photoshop that we were taught in the previous practice exercise. I added a border, shadow, and text. This is an original portrait.

Class Exercise 1: Practice Picture Manipulation (Photoshop)

In this class exercise I was introduced to Adobe Photoshop. I learned basic skills. I took this picture of a client of mine and added a shadow, border, and text as my signature.

Logo Assignment Brainstorm

I have professionally done photography on the side for a few years now, however I do not have a professional logo, card, letterhead etc. My plan is to utilize next weeks class time to learn how to design a logo that not only will be learning experience for me, but that I may be able to use professionally. My company name is "In His Eyes Photography." I have many ideas and ambitions for this assignment.

Carmen's Class

Today was the first day in Carmen's computer class. Our first assignment is to create a blog. Seems easy enough until you realize you have absolutely nothing interesting to write about. Not to mention its posted for the entire world to read. Well I hope that in the future I will be able to entertain and stimulate my readers. Just to clarify I am not a self proclaimed "cool guy.'' I couldn't think of a name so Carmen told me to put "cool guy." However, that was taken, so Carmen's cool guy it is!
